Steven Kotler

Flow Research Collective

“This is a very important point. Flow carries within it delicious possibility. In the state, we are aligned with our core passion and, because of flow’s incredible impact on performance, expressing that passion to our utmost. Under normal conditions (playing chess, writing a report), this is empowering.”

Loch Kelly

Awakening Teacher

"Feel direct perception, not looking down from thought. Feeling as if the field of awareness is flowing from within and just notice that intelligent awareness just drop under your neck into your body. So that you're feeling your body directly from within.

Katie Goodman

Author & Comedian

“When you are truly genuine, there will invariably be people who do not accept you. And in that case, you must be your own badass self, without apology.”

Patricia Albere

Evolutionary Collective

"Right now, it feels more important than ever to come together and actively find our oneness, our goodness and our capacity to live a higher order of love as a social reality."

Diane Allen

VIOLINIST & TEDx SPEAKER

"Being conscious about the process is a practice, and the more you practice, the more you increase your odds of accessing that flow state. So becoming conscious about the process is like you have a dream and remembered it and you analyze it afterwards.

Craig Hamilton

Integral Enlightenment

"On the one hand we feel called for this spiritual possibility, we feel a soul level learning for a kind of alignment. In our deepest moments, we feel brought to our knees by the holiness and sacredness of reality. We just feel, I just want to serve this."

Martin Aylward

Dharma Teacher

"Recognize that voice of doubt, of insecurity as not as the truth about you but just an imprint, a habit, a historical hangover. And the more we are able to recognize the structure of the inner critic, the more we are able to see that it is not truth about us. "

Terry Patten

New Republic of the heart

“Care is not fast-moving like anger. Anger is suddenly right there, ready to mobilize and move—now! Care is a warm, deep reservoir of comforting strength and sanity that you can steadily draw upon over time. Care for yourself is the foundation.”

Dr. Michael Beckwith

Agape Spiritual Center

“Self-love, a sense of interconnectedness to all beings, and Oneness with Source co-exist within those stages. While detachment and attachment push us away from love, nonattachment takes us toward love. It is an affirmative self-relating to our true Essence, our highest potentiality.”

Cameron Norsworthy

Flow Centre

"Give the mind a moment of flow because in effortless action is very different context of winning. But rather that effortless action is a process oriented vision that we can proactively put in front of us. That allows us to have the process of moment to moment framework which allows that intuitive action to come in.

Paul Austin

THE THIRD WAVE

"There's this tools to facilitate non-dual states then its just a matter of trusting your intuition to a certain degree where you choose going to and having an experience or a micro-dosing protocol would be beneficial. It varies and depends on a persons journey."

Tami Simon

Sounds True Founder

“When you live life at altitude and then trip and fall — which we all do every day — you have a long way to fall and you may kill yourself. But if you’re standing on the ground, you can fall again and again and simply get up, dust yourself off, and take the next step.”

Karen Johnson

The Diamond Approach

"It brings in this feeling of strength, this sense of I CAN. Its a feeling of capacity, but it isn't just a capacity to do. Its a feeling of riding a tip of an enormous wave of energy and you just feel capable of being.

Jeffery A. Martin

Finders' Course Founder

"The world's largest scientific research project into fundamental well-being, sometimes called enlightenment, reveals the methods which actually work."

Rick Barrett

Tai Chi Alchemy

"That clear minded state is an indicator that you're in a state of wholeness right now. Another of feeling it is having a sense of heat or tingling in your fingers, that means your body is connecting to the state of wholeness."

“When free from the confines of our normal identity, we are able to look at life, and the often repetitive stories we tell about it, with fresh eyes. Come Monday morning, we may still clamber back into the monkey suits of our everyday roles—parent, spouse, employee, boss, neighbor—but, by then, we know they're just costumes with zippers.”

the art of impossible

Steven Kotler is a New York Times-bestselling author, an award-winning journalist and the Executive Director of the Flow Research Collective. He is one of the world’s leading experts on human performance. He’s the author of eleven books, including  The Future Is Faster Than You Think, Stealing Fire, Bold, Abundance and The Rise of Superman. His work has been nominated for two Pulitzer Prizes, been translated into over 40 languages and appeared in over 100 publications, including The New York Times Magazine, Atlantic Monthly, Time, Wired, and Forbes. He is also the cofounder of the Rancho de Chihuahua dog sanctuary.

“Since flow is a fluid action state, making better decisions isn’t enough: we also have to act on those decisions. The problem is fear, which stands between us and all actions. Yet our fears are grounded in self, time, and space. With our sense of self out of the way we are liberated from doubt and insecurity. With time gone, there is no yesterday to regret or tomorrow to worry about. And when our sense of space disappears, so do physical consequences. But when all three vanish at once, something far more incredible occurs: our fear of death—that most fundamental of all fears—can no longer exist. Simply put: if you’re infinite and atemporal, you cannot die.”

Effortless Mindfulness

Using neuroscience, psychology, and ancient wisdom traditions Loch Kelly spreads awareness of how to enter an optimal flow state, access peace of mind, and live from open-hearted awareness. He is an author, meditation teacher, psychotherapist, and founder of the Open-Hearted Awareness Institute.

“Effortless mindfulness is a way of opening to a natural, wise, and loving awareness that is already present within us, which reveals qualities of well-being, clarity, and compassionate action. It is a way of shifting out of the chattering mind and into the source of our mind, which is already awake and aware — where we can rest, engage, and feel unconditional love.”

Improvisation for Life

Katie Goodman is a comedian who has been seen on Showtime, TruTV, and waiting in line to get a mocha latte with extra whipped cream. Through her training and speaking she has taught over 10,000 people how to use the tools of improv comedy in their lives to handle absolutely anything and be more creative, courageous, and confident.

“The practice of improv or any creative endeavour is just that: practice. Allowing yourself to lose your perfectionist streak and to try again and again will let you live the life you want, without fear of failure or shame. And supporting others around you will create the kind of world we want to live in.”

Unitive flow

Internationally known contemporary spiritual teacher and bestselling author, Patricia Albere has helped 200,000 people transform their lives and their consciousness over the last 40 years. In 2007, she founded the Evolutionary Collective, a global organization that provides different opportunities for people to come together inside shared unity.

“In the world of spiritual enlightenment, people who have experienced awakenings almost always experience them individually – eyes shut, in quiet solitude. In fact, the spiritual paradigm of the last three thousand years has been singularly devoted to our individual salvation or solo enlightenment. The Evolutionary Collective offers a different kind of realization, a dual realization that happens with another. That shared awakening points to a new dimension of consciousness and an extraordinary possibility for humanity’s future.”

Flow on demand

Diane Allen, known as The ‘Own Your Potential’ Speaker & Violinist, is a sought-after speaker and consultant to organizations, influential leaders and entrepreneurs, looking for that edge of performance that only a fifty-year Copper Dragon Violinist can deliver.

“Innovation is a really important thing right now. And so getting into the flow state is what gets people so deeply engaged with what they’re doing. It gets them into that innovative stage. It gets them into having purpose. It’s cultivating the humanity.”

Beyond peak experiences

Craig Hamilton began his spiritual journey in the ashrams and monasteries of the East, but ultimately found himself at the forefront of consciousness research in the West. He is a pioneer in the emerging field of evolutionary spirituality and a leading voice in the movement for conscious evolution.

“I’m pointing to something more. I’m speaking about the possibility of awakening to our divine nature so fully that we become a superconductor for the creative power of the cosmos, for the evolutionary impulse itself. In this miraculous discovery, our personal need to have and get for ourselves is replaced by a passion to give everything for the greatest good. In this profound alignment with the sacred, the human being becomes a living, breathing force for higher evolution.Whatever you do and wherever your path takes you, don’t settle for less than this kind of ultimate awakening.”

Inner critic to inner freedom

Martin has been practicing meditation intensively for 30 years and has been teaching dharma and guiding people in their practice since 1999. Martin is a pioneer in offering online Dharma and meditation teachings, and today teaches online through a number of different platforms.

Martin introduces Mara, the inner critic, as the tendency to judge, measure and limit our sense of self and unpacks the mechanisms by which we get caught in self doubt and deficiency.

He explores how our psychological history shaped this aspect of our psyche, and uses the story of Buddha’s struggle with Mara as a guide to our own explorations, transforming self-doubt, fear and insecurity, through Buddhist practices, psychological inquiry and emotional healing.

“We’ve become so seduced by our creations and imaginings that we have overlooked the importance and relevance, the depth, the liberating potential of actually learning, actually evolving I would say, our consciousness beyond the capacity of abstraction to a capacity, to actually stay in the heart of experience. So that rather than being fixated on the creations of awareness, we’re able to stay enough to understand something fundamental about the fact of being aware, the fact of our human existence. And as we said, this human existence happens right here.”

Insights From The Field

Cameron Norsworthy is a coach, keynote and TEDx speaker, author and founder and CEO of The Flow Centre.

“This industrialized mindset of prioritizing our external over internal, productivity over presence, outcome over process is a problem. It negates the very self-management and self-optimization required of us to meet our optimal experience. We need to get to a state where things are flowing through us. Where we are letting it happen, rather than making things happen. So the next time you face a challenge, adopt this simple paradoxical shift: Instead of focusing on this predetermined outcome or the fear in the rhetoric around it, prioritize flow and the quality of your experience. Instead of these many fight, flight, freeze responses we can find flow.”

The Psychedelic Evolution

Paul Austin helps steward humanity 2.0, contributing to greater individual and collective well-being by normalizing responsible psychedelic use. He’s not only an entrepreneur, but he also speaks about the intersection of psychedelics, personal transformation, and professional success.

“What’s really going on at the fundamental level with microdosing is just like meditation, just like breath work just like yoga. It’s just helping us to be more present. We’re not sort of in this anxious sympathetic state, but we can actually drop back and relax into a parasympathetic state, and respond to things and be creative from that position. And then with creativity comes flow and productivity and all these other sorts of things that people will often read about with microdose. But at the fundamental level, its presence, its mindfulness.”

It takes courage, receptivity to feedback, and introspection to confront our areas of unconsciousness, feel the pain of old patterns, and commit to new ways of being. This is the path of self-awareness, the path of waking up to our full potential to connect and contribute.”

Continuous discovery

The Diamond Approach offers an immense and precise body of knowledge about the nature of reality and the process of spiritual realization. Rather than positing an end goal or condition, it points to an open-ended, continuous process of discovery. Even non-dual realization is recognized as a step toward greater mysteries and forms of freedom.

“It is a living, palpable presence, a process of bursting forth from within. This presence comes from inside, runs in our veins, and pushes things out for us to see.”

Dr. Jeffery A. Martin is a founder of the Transformative Technology space, serial entrepreneur and social scientist who researches personal transformation and the states of greatest human well-being. Jeffery’s current work involves helping people use what’s been learned to make the life-changing transformation into Fundamental Wellbeing.

“One of the most important things that we’ve learned is that this notion of enlightenment or ”extraordinary well being” is not a binary state.  It’s not something that is simply turned on and then is the same for everyone.  There actually is a range or continuum — and where someone falls along it determines the experience that they have in relation to the world.”

A Taste of Awakening

Monk, mystic, author, artist and spiritual teacher, Peter is a spiritual catalyst. He helps birth the awakened consciousness that lies hidden in most of us. Although it lies hidden behind the conditioned thoughts of the dream world, it is always here ready to awaken.

“Look at your own heart. Can it be separate from your lungs that supply the heart cells and all other cells with the oxygen they need? Can it be separate from your parents or grandparents? If they never met, where would your heart be now? Is the food you eat separate from your heart? Is whether you exercise or not separate from the condition of your heart right now? Are your thoughts, beliefs and emotions separate from your heart? If you are able to see your heart clearly, you will realize that nothing in all existence has ever been separate from your heart.”

Dialogic Flow

One World in Dialogue was created in 2015 by Elizabeth Debold with her partner Thomas Steininger. Elizabeth is a developmental psychologist, gender futurist, and pioneer of emergent dialogue.  Thomas is a philosopher, host of Radio evolve, and creator of emergent dialogue and co-conscious We processes. The idea behind OWiD is simple: to develop a living global network of change-makers and activists committed to deep dialogue in order to create new approaches and collaborations that support change.

“We are no longer living in a world where individual genius can solve the problems that we face–even when we individually achieve peak performance. The new threshold is the space between us, the mysterious power of co-conscious dialogue. When the space between us shimmers with aliveness, a new momentum arises that draws individual genius into collective scenius. Then we can experience a dynamic flow that comes from a co-creative intelligence emerging from the unknown mystery of life itself.”
